Chairman Robert Carr has had experience in public service. Robert Carr a 24 year old college grad has been waiting for his oppurtunity to run for a position in government. The young republican has been well known in republican cirlces and will soon the main stage of politics. Sources close to the Carr Campaign state, "That Rob Carr has no choice but to run... he made a promise to many of us to lead... that time is now." Since then Mr. Carr has been involved in his community and leading catholic charities to a record accomplishment of both domestic and national coverage. Chairman Carr will most likely take on former state rep. Mathew Banicks(D Pa) come the fall of 2010. Early polls would sugest that Robert Carr would most likely win his first election handly.

Overall it looks like a new wave of Republican candidate are emerging, with Rob Carr leading the way in district 170.
